1524934 Sliding clasp fasteners YOSHIDA KOGYO KK 14 Feb 1977 [18 Feb 1976 4 June 1976] 6041/77 Heading E2S [Also in Division B8] A sliding clasp fastener for securing the closing flaps of a carton has its stringers secured to the flaps by adhesive or by stitching and the stringer tapes may be elastic to draw the closed flaps together. In a modification, Fig. 4, the fastener is designed so that the elements E are coupled and uncoupled in a direction vertical to the plane of the fastener. The pull tab S' 3 is passed over a projecting lug S' 1 when the carton is closed and is locked by a pin received in a hole S' 2 .
