Abstract
1522153 Dishwashers BOSCH-SIEMENS HAUSGER€TE GmbH 28 Aug 1975 [29 Aug 1974] 35453/75 Heading A4F A method of washing crockery in a dishwasher comprises subjecting the crockery to a preliminary rinsing cycle A during which washing liquid is fed to the washing chamber, sprayed on to the crockery then removed from the chamber, a washing cycle B having a first phase b 1 , during which washing liquid is introduced into the chamber and sprayed on to the crockery at a first pressure whilst being heated to a predetermined temperature, and a second phase b 2 during which cold water is added to the washing liquid (as shown in a 1:1 ratio) and the resulting washing liquid is sprayed on to the crockery at a second pressure higher than the first before being removed from the chamber, and intermediate and final rinsing cycles C and D in each of which liquid is fed into chamber, sprayed on to the crockery (as shown at the first or second and at the first pressure respectively) and removed. During cycle D the washing liquid may be heated in preparation for a final drying cycle E. A washing agent can be added at b 3 and a final rinsing agent at d 1 . Spray pressure changes can be effected by causing a circulating pump to draw air, by bypassing the pump, by regulating the pump motor, or by a throttle between the pump and the spraying means.
