Abstract

1521230 Musical stands NIPPON GAKKI SEIZO KK 14 Dec 1976 52120/76 Heading A4H A stand 7, Fig. 3, having an adjustable tilter device 100, comprises a post 9 in telescopic arrangement with a standard 2, a tripod 12 having legs 13 to 15, and a stem 1 carrying a musical instrument 8 and connected to the standard by the device 100, the tilter device 100, Fig. 4, comprising a stationary tilter block 110 attached to standard 2, a movable tilter block attached to stem 1 by set screw 162, and meshing serrations 118 and 155 on respectively the stationary and movable tilter blocks, a set screw 159 in threaded hole 156 of movable block 150 tightening the blocks together to engage the serrations, and a helical spring 158 pushing the blocks apart when set screw 159 is loosened.
