Abstract
There are prepared 1-amino-6(7)-chloroanthraquinones of the formula <IMAGE> in which R represents hydrogen or an optionally substituted alkyl, alkenyl, cycloalkyl or aralkyl radical, one X represents a chlorine atom and the other X represents hydrogen, and particularly their mixtures. These compounds are obtained by reacting corresponding 1-chloroanthraquinones or their mixtures with a primary amine containing the radical R2. The said compounds can be used for dyeing organic materials such as fibres, threads, woven fabrics, knitted fabrics, tapes, films and sheets of synthetic origin.
