Abstract

1516640 Fire fighting and anti-bomb screen T D ANDREWS and S ANDREWS 8 March 1976 [10 Dec 1974 (2)] 53297/74 and 53298/74 Heading ASA An apparatus for fighting fire and explosion comprises a flexible, sheet-like container 2 having an inlet connector 4 for fire extinguishant and an outlet connector 6 with a pressure regulating valve 5 to allow egress of extinguishant while maintaining a substantial amount of extinguishant within container 2. A fixing strip 1, and holding strips 7 which allow the folded container to unfold when extinguishant pressure is applied, are also provided.
