1516450 Inking apparatus POLYGRAPH LEIPZIG KOMBINAT FUR POLYGRAPHISCHE MASCHINEN UND AUSTRUSTUNGEN VEB 18 Nov 1976 [20 Nov 1975] 48060/76 Heading B6C In a printing machine an inking train containing a first distributor roller is selectively engageable with other trains containing further distributor rollers. In a first position ink passes from a reservoir, to ink roller 5, to a first distributor roller 6 only, and then to inking rollers 9. In a second position coupling rollers 7<SP>1</SP>, 7<SP>11</SP> respectively contact further distributor roller 8<SP>1</SP> and first roller 6 to increase the effective train lengths. Positioning is controlled by a handle 15 which acts on linkage 17-23. A further position corresponding with the second position except that a wiper blade 12 engages roller 6 for cleaning. Ink roller 5 may also be tripped from roller 6.
