Abstract
1515025 Amide and thioamide complexing agents for cations W MOLLER [trading as WILLI MOLLER GLASBLASEREI] 11 June 1975 [18 June 1974] 25031/75 Addition to 1432807 Heading C2C [Also in Division Gl] Lipid soluble complexes of cations are prepared by reaction of a novel uncharged complexing agent of Formula I (R is H or an organic group or two groups R together with the attached C atom form a ring or two or more neighbouring -C(R) 2 - groups together form a ring structure; R<SP>1</SP> is H or an organic group, or -N(R<SP>1</SP>) 2 forms a ring or two groups R<SP>1</SP> from the two terminal groups together form a group which closes the substance I to form a cyclic structure; E is O or S; X is O, S, SO or SO 2 ; y is 1-4; z is 1-4; and n is 0, 1 or 2 with the proviso that when both Es are O atoms then at least one X is other than O or S) with a cation.
