1514978 Clothes hangers MAINETTI SpA 3 Dec 1975 [5 Dec 1974] 49636/75 Heading A4U A hanger for skirts or slacks comprises a hook structure 1 from which extend resilient arms 2, 3 having at their free ends means 6 for gripping a garment. Each gripping means 6 comprises jaws 7, 8, the jaw 8 being resiliently biased towards the jaw 7 and one or both jaws having small projections 11 thereon to aid gripping. The hanger may be moulded integrally of plastics material. Alternatively, the hook may be of metal and pivoted and spring- biased jaws may be used.
