Abstract

1513660 Drinking cups HUHTAMAKI OY 13 April 1977 [13 April 1976] 15245/77 Heading A4A [Also in Division B8] A stackable drinking mug has a handle 8 lying substantially parallel to the side of the mug and able to be bent outwardly from the mug, Fig. 4, (not shown) for gripping, there being projections 5, 6 on the side of the mug above and below the handle and having a radial extension at least equal to the thickness of the handle so that between stacked mugs, Fig. 5, (not shown) a space is provided for the handle. The mug may be of cardboard, having a vertical seam (not shown) and the projections may be annular ribs or are discontinuous. The projections may be on the external or internal surface of the mug, or both. The handle is secured with adhesive and the flaps 11 of the handle may be temporarily secured to the mug wall with a weak adhesion.
