Abstract

1511692 Springs of glass-reinforced plastics DEFENCE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR 23 Feb 1976 [24 Feb 1975] 7666/75 Heading F2S A shock absorbing mount for supporting an instrument cabinet in a framework (Fig. 3, not shown) comprises a tubular spring of the crosssection shown-viz. approximately rhombic with flat parallel attachment portions 5 and rounded corners 6 made of glass-reinforced plastics material. The glass fibres are wound circumferentially of the spring. The spring may house a rubber spring and a friction damper (Fig. 2, not shown).
