1511656 Aerating liquids REED INTERNATIONAL Ltd 27 Oct 1975 [4 Oct 1974] 43203/74 Heading B1C Aerating apparatus of the type having a porous diffuser 2 immersed in the liquid to be aerated and supplied with air by an air pipe 1 on which the diffuser is mounted by mounting means 3 includes a gasket 25 between a depending rim of the diffuser and a support surface 18 therefor, the gasket having ribs 27 on its lower surface which are intended to allow a controlled leakage of air in bubbles which are approximately the same size as those emerging from the diffuser.
