Abstract

1510973 Octyltin compounds M & T CHEMICALS Inc 19 May 1975 21228/75 Heading C2J [Also in Division C3] N - Octyltin - 5,5<SP>1</SP>5<SP>11</SP> - tris(isooctyl- or 2- ethylhexyl - mercaptoacetate) is prepared by reacting n-octyltin trichloride with isooctyl or 2-ethylhexyl mercaptoacetate in cyclohexane. The compounds are useful as polymer stabilizers.
