Abstract

1510344 Valves CASALS CARDONA INDUSTRIAL SA 16 April 1975 15699/75 Heading F2V A fluid control valve has a seat 8 clamped between two parts 5, 6 of the body to co-operate with a closure member 9 on a stem 10 having a sealed connection, such as a bellows 11A, with one of the parts. The bellows may be of synthetic resin reinforced by a steel wire core. Alternatively a stuffing box type of seal may be used. Leakage past the seal is detected by a pressure gauge 20A. All the parts exposed to fluid are made from moulded or machined synthetic resin, for example, PVC, polypropylene polyester glass or one of the materials known by the Trade Marks "Teflon", "Penton" or "Viton". A bridge member 45 connects the valve to a diaphragm chamber or to an electric motor for operating the stem. A plate 13 is provided with arms for supporting the valve.
