Abstract
The novel azo dyestuffs of the formula <IMAGE> in which the substituents are defined in Claim 1, are obtained by diazotising appropriate alpha -naphthylamines. The reaction product is then coupled to appropriate anilines. The novel dyestuffs can be used for dyeing fibre materials made from linear aromatic polyesters, such as polyethylene terephthalates, and cellulose esters, such as cellulose triacetate, according to the customary carrier process.
