1507978 Pneumatic tyre and wheel rim assemblies DUNLOP Ltd 20 March 1975 [28 March 1974] 13906/74 Heading B7C In a pneumatic tyre and wheel rim assembly in which the rim has a well 7 located adjacent one tyre bead retaining flange 10, one bead of the tyre has its heel 15 supported by a ledge 9 connecting the well 7 and flange 10 and its toe 17 supported by a resilient ring 16 in the well, the ring 16 serving to retain the tyre on the rim in the event of deflation during running.
