1506160 Photovoltaic cells PHOTON POWER Inc 8 Jan 1975 40010/77 Divided out of 1506158 Heading H1K The subject matter of this Specification is identical with that of Specifications 1,506,159 and 1,506,158 from which the present application has been divided but the claims are directed to a photovoltaic cell comprising two juxtaposed microcrystalline layers between which a heterojunction is formed, and on the face of one layer opposite the heterojunction, a layer of a metallic compound, and a superposed electrode layer of copper separated from the compound layer by a rectifying junction produced by interaction between the copper and the compound.
