Abstract

In order to be able to produce the low-phosphate or phosphate-free composition without loss of nonionics, it contains 30 - 100% by weight of the following ingredients in total: (A) a carrier which is at least partially composed of: synthetic silicates which are insoluble in water, act as phosphate substitute, have a calcium binding capacity of at least 50 mg CaO/g active substance, contain bound water and correspond to the general formula (Cat2/nO)x . Me2O3 . (SiO2)y (I> in which Cat denotes a cation which is exchangeable with calcium and has valency n, x denotes a number from 0.7 to 1.5, Me denotes boron or aluminium and y denotes a number from 0.8 to 6; B) on the carrier according to A), finely divided nonionics, where the ratio of the amounts of the cation-exchanging silicates of the formula (I) and of the nonionics is in the range from 10 : 1 to 1 : 3, and the silicates of the formula (I) and the nonionics each account for at least 10% by weight of the total amount of ingredients A) and B). To produce a composition of this type, the nonionics which are in the liquid state are applied to an agitated powder of the carrier. The product obtained in this way can be mixed with a powder which is in the flowable state, is obtained by hot drying and consists of thermally insensitive ingredients of detergents and cleaners.
