Abstract

1504297 Racquet ACCLES & POLLOCK Ltd 7 April 1975 [18 April 1974] 16900/74 Heading A6D A racquet comprises an elongate frame member bent to the required shape and a handle joined to the frame member by a joining member having a recess 11 into which the handle extends and a passage 13 provided with an abutment 14 against which the end surfaces of the racquet frame abut. In alternative arrangements (Figures 2 and 3 not shown), the abutment forms part of a cap having grommets which extend into the passage 13 to engage slots formed adjacent the ends of the frame member. Additional grommets (18) (19) may be provided to engage further slots or holes formed in the frame member.
