Abstract

1502459 Oil burners OFR OFFICINE FRATELLI RIELLO SpA 9 July 1975 [30 Aug 1974] 28952/75 Heading F4T A fuel oil burner assembly comprises an air supply housing 2, an axially-movable fuel nozzle 5 in the housing, a flame stabilizer 9 in the housing downstream of the nozzle and connected to the nozzle, and a baffle 11 down stream of the flame stabilizer having a central aperture and a conical rim 9, an annular throttling passage 10, a vaned baffle 11, and a throttling ring 13. The flame stabilizer 9 is secured to nozzle conduit 6 by brackets 7, and is adapted to vary the air throttling passage 10. Stabilizer 8 may hae skewed slots therein, so as to provide for air-swirling and baffle 11 has inclined vanes 12 upset therefrom.
