Abstract

1502385 Lined brick moulds STEENFABRIEK "WINDESHEIM" BV 2 July 1975 27800/75 Heading B5A A relief is formed on a brick by moulding the brick in a mould having a patterned inner surface structure of a two-component synthetic resin applied to the mould surface. As described non- or sub-divided wooden, metal or polyethylene moulds are provided with an epoxy resin patterned surface layer. A sandy clay mixture is kneaded, rolled in sand, mechanically placed in the sanded moulds, and strickled. The bricks are removed by inverting the moulds, and are then baked and glazed. Their surfaces resemble the relief on hand-moulded bricks.
