Abstract

1501657 Joining hull sections LODOSE VARF AB and NAVIRE CARGO GEAR INTERNATIONAL AB 26 Aug 1975 [19 Sept 1974] 35267/75 Heading B7A A device to seal the joint between two floating hull sections to facilitate welding from the inside of the hull, comprises a frame, made from sections, and a flexible belt 12, e.g. of sheet steel, with sealing members 15 along each side, and screws (30), Fig. 6, not shown, so that the belt can be tensioned into contact with the hull, an opening (23), Fig. 5, not shown, in the belt, and a pump 14 enabling the space between the belt and the hull to be drained.
