Abstract

1500570 Chain couplings I D THEILE 17 Oct 1975 [19 Oct 1974 18 Jan 1975] 42730/75 Heading F2Q A chain lock comprises two arms 1 with curved ends, each arm having at one end 2 a locking element 4 which is undercut in the form of an anchor and at the other end 3 a corresponding recess 7 so that the two arms 1 can be pushed into one another in the longitudinal direction of the chain lock to produce a form-locking connection, the curved ends of the arms complementing each other to form the two arcs of a chain link, and each locking element 4 having an internal bulge 15 extending the whole height of the locking element to form the internal curvature of the arc on that side of the chain link. In a modification, shown in Fig. 3, each bulge 15 is situated inwardly of a recess 7.
