Abstract

157,520. Strangward, F. E. Oct. 9, 1919. Clamping-devices. - A clip for bolding papers &c. of the type comprising a piece of sheet metal bent substantially to a U-shape and formed with out-turned corners E to facilitate insertion of the papers, is so shaped as to provide a clearance space B at the back, and depending jaws which may have gripping lips C at the front edges. Tongues or depressions H may be formed in the flat sides G of the clip when in position, so as to provide a permanent binding. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 963/95 and 22195/14, [Class 44, Fastenings, Lock &c.].
