Abstract

In order to prevent the measurement of interference potentials in the case of plate electrodes, in particular of electromedical measuring instruments, intended for tapping body potentials, provision is made for an electrode arrangement consisting of a conducting or semiconducting material. The contact surfaces of at least two mutually isolated electrodes (3, 5, 6) are provided with a multiplicity of pointed projections (7) intended to penetrate the epidermis. These many projections (7) of the electrodes render superfluous electrode pastes or conductivity creams for overcoming skin resistance. <IMAGE>
