Abstract

The radiator (1) of the installation is equipped with a tubular insert (27) which is connected via bores (15) to the radiator interior (3). The insert (27) receives a complete valve together with valve body (8) and valve housing (28), which regulates the inflow of the heating medium to the radiator. Moreover, the insert is welded to the forward-run pipe (17). As the insert is also welded into the radiator, the result is a tight fit of the insert and in particular the possibility of installing the valve at any place in the radiator. <IMAGE>
