Abstract

For the precise adjustment of the pressing-on force between two bearing rings (2) of a printing machine, the contact point (7) of the bearing rings is incorporated in an electrical measuring circuit. By means of the measuring circuit, an electrical characteristic value of the contact point, for example the transition resistance, is measured and displayed. In order to be able to carry out the method, the running surface of the bearing rings is electrically insulated in relation to the adjacent machine parts. The two running surfaces are connected to the device (8) for measuring the electrical characteristic value, for example via sensors (10). <IMAGE>
