Abstract

In a cordless telephone subscriber station, the connection between the microtelephone (2) and the subscriber station (1) is set up with the aid of IR links (3-5, 4-6). The circuits provided in the microtelephone are powered by a rechargeable battery which is charged from the subscriber line when the microtelephone is on-hook. <IMAGE>
