Abstract

The bracing element (A) is to be installed in a blind bore (B) with the aid of a tubular element (10) which is fastened over the blind bore (B). A piston (14) which can be displaced in the tubular element (10) is acted upon by compressed air and thus pushes the bracing element (A), arranged in front of it, through the tubular element (10) into the blind bore (B). As a result, rock anchors, in particular, may be shifted into place, in tunnel construction, in a simpler and more reliable manner. <IMAGE>
