Abstract

1439386 Centrifugal pumps SONESSON PUMPINDUSTRI AB 12 Sept 1973 [14 Sept 1972] 42778/73 Heading F1C In the centrifugal pump shown, a shaft bearing 26 and a shaft seal 9, 14 at each end of the shaft are carried by a cylindrical sleeve 12 which fits into an opening in the pump casing 1 having circular surfaces 19, 20 and is held in place by bolts 22. An annular channel for a coolant is provided between the surfaces 19, 20. The housing 27 for the bearing 26 fits into a circular opening 25 in an endwall 24 carried by a tubular or bracket-like extension 23 connected to the sleeve 12 via an annular flange 21.
