Abstract

1439060 Connectors WESTERN ELECTRIC CO Inc 16 Oct 1973 [19 Oct 1972] 48062/73 Heading H2E A connector of copper-containing material has an indium contact layer with conductive means separating the indium from the copper-containing material. In the preferred form, a U-shaped piece of phosphor bronze has slots (13) in each limb of the U and the wall of each slot has a plating of nickel followed by a layer of plated indium. Aluminium, lead or iron may be used instead of nickel.
