Abstract

1439052 Photographic colour coupler dispersion in hydrophilic colloid EASTMAN KODAK CO 31 Aug 1973 [31 Aug 1972] 41033/73 Heading G2C A hydrophilic colloid has dispersed therein a colour coupler in admixture with a coupler solvent comprising an ester of one of the Formulae:- wherein each R<SP>I</SP>, R<SP>II</SP>, R<SP>III</SP>, R<SP>IV</SP> or R<SP>VI</SP> is H or 1-8C alkyl; each R<SP>V</SP> is arylcarbonyl; and n is 1-1000. A second solvent which is a high-boiling hydropholic coupler solvent having a boiling point above 175‹C may also be used. The hydrophilic colloid dispersion of the colour coupler may be incorporated in a silver halide emulsion.
