Abstract

1438428 Prefabricated room units; concrete floors HOUILLERES DU BASSIN DU NORD & DUPAS-DE-CALAIS 1 July 1974 [3 July 1973 13 June 1974] 29104/74 Headings E1A and E1W A floor slab 5 adapted to be bolted to wall panels 6 in turn 'bolted to a ceiling panel 7 in order to form a prefabricated room unit, is re-inforced at each of its corners by angle-irons 4, see also Figs. 1 2 and 4 (not shown), which have their upper surfaces 13 and their side surfaces flush with the slab and their lower surfaces 12 disposed below the level of the floor slab. Each angle-iron is provided with tubes 2, 3 and the panel 7 is provided with a blind aperture receiving a nut 9 and a wood insert 16. The wood receives a pin 18 protruding from one of the tubes 3 of an angle iron 15 whilst the nut receives a locating bolt for adjustment purposes. Adjustment of one room unit on another is effected by a bar 22 which is mounted on the panel 7 and has a sighting device adapted to be aligned with a reference marker mounted on the floor slab, see Fig. 4 (not shown). For method of adjustment and minor details including method of transporting the room unit the Specification and remaining drawings (not shown), should be referred to.
