1438239 Lighting fittings W HOCHMUTH [trading as CIMA INTERNATIONAL DISTRIBUTION DIPL KFM W HOCHMUTH] 19 March 1974 [15 Dec 1973] 12032/74 Heading F4R A suspended lighting fitting comprises a central rod supporting a plurality of radiallydirected arms carrying closed lamp housings containing light sources which are preferably of the halogen type, each housing having an opening in which is mounted the bunched end of a fibre optic spray. Each housing contains a reflector and an infra-red filter and may also contain a motor-driven rotatable multi-coloured filter and a cooling fan. The brightness of the light sources may be varied, either jointly or independently, by connecting the sources to a variable resistor, a phase chopping triac circuit or different tappings of a transformer secondary winding.
