Abstract
1434965 Two-part couplings; terminals WAGO-KONTAKTTECHNIK GmbH 26 Nov 1973 [28 Nov 1972] 54757/73 Heading H2E A socket 10 and plug 11 for the screwless connection of leads are each provided with an insulating housing 12, 13, a contact frame 14, 15 and a bent clamping spring 16, 17 retaining conducting leads inserted through openings 24, 25, the plug pin 21 and one socket contact finger 18 being bent from their respective frames, the other socket contact finger 19 being bent from the socket clamping spring 16, such that reaction forces resulting from contact pressures on the finger 19 bear directly on the contact frame 14. Tool insertion openings 27, 28 may be provided to allow for the relaxation of the spring clamping pressure for lead withdrawal.
