Abstract
1434081 Tooth whitening compositions KOH-I-NOOR RAPIDOGRAPH Inc and V A BURELL 27 June 1973 [2 April 1973] 30494/73 Headings C3P and C3F A tooth whitening composition comprises a mixture of (a) an aqueous solution or dispersion of zinc oxide, ammonium hydroxide and ammonium carbonate, (b) a solution or dispersion in ethanol of an acrylic film-forming resin and methyl cellulose, (c) a dispersion in ethanol of non-toxic colouring pigments, and optionally (d) a yellow dye solution. The colouring pigments preferably include titanium dioxide, and the yellow dye, where used, is preferably dissolved in ethanol. Other optional components include preservatives such as methyl or propyl Paraben, and flavouring agents such as peppermint.
