Abstract
1430609 Gas turbines NOEL PENNY TURBINES Ltd 17 July 1974 [16 Aug 1973] 38721/73 Heading F1T The angularly adjustable nozzle blades (4), Fig. 1 (not shown), of a gas turbine engine are controlled by a rocker arm 16 acting on a lever 9 connected by links 10, 11 to an annular member 8, e.g. a ring gear meshing individual pinions (6) on the blade spindles (5), the lever 9 being slidable on its pivot support block 13 and being slidably connected to the rocker arm 16, e.g. by a slidable knuckle joint 19, 20, to compensate and allow for thermal expansion of links 10, 11 without effecting the setting of the blades.
