1429567 Lawn mowers G D MOUNTFIELD LTD 10 July 1974 [3 Aug 1973] 36891/ 73 Heading A1F A lawn mower comprises a cover 1 and a grass box 7 fed through an opening 5 with which is associated a deflector plate 13 attached to one end of a pivotably mounted lever 10 having an operating handle 11'. A catch 12, arranged to hold the grass box 7 in position, when fitted, maintains the lever such that the deflector plate is inoperative. Removal of the grass box from the cowl frees the lever which is arranged to pivot so that the deflector plate becomes operative. For Figures see next column
