Abstract

1428809 Ribbon cartridge SCM CORP 5 June 1973 [5 June 1972 26891/73 Heading B8M Part B The disclosure is identical to that of Application 26890/73 but the claims are directed to the cartridge. This has a chamber 7 for an ink ribbon, two rotatable members 11, 12 and oscillating fingers 64 driven by eccentrics (only 49 shown) which strip the ribbon from between the members 11, 12 and pack it into the chamber. The ribbon, as shown, is continuous; alternatively, Fig. 3 (not shown) it may be drawn off a supply reel in the chamber and packed back into the chamber loosely.
