Abstract

1428753 Trolleys ATELIERS REUNIS SA 18 Sept 1973 [6 Oct 1972] 43644/73 Heading B7B [Also in Division F2] The rear wheels 5 of a trolley, especially a luggage trolley or supermarket trolley are braked by brakes shoes 13 applied to a tyre on the wheel 5 by a spring 15. The brakes shoes 13 are released by pivoting a U-shaped handle 9 about a pivot 11 so as to raise rods 14 connected to the handle by links 16. A pin and slot connection 18, 19 compensates for wear of the tyre on wheel 5.
