Abstract

1428188 Inductors GENERAL ELECTRIC CO 25 July 1973 [27 July 1972] 35423/73 Heading HIT [Also in Division H2] A current limiting reactor for the supply circuit of an electrostatic precipitator comprises an inductor which includes eight, series connected solenoids 160 each having single layer windings with spaced apart turns. The windings are made of aluminium and the spacing of the turns assists heat dissipation. Each solenoid includes an iron core 164 formed of silicon steel laminations.
