1427580 Pinless hinges BOWMAN WEBBER Ltd 12 July 1974 [28 Aug 1973] 40408/73 Heading E2F In a pinless hinge for attaching a hinged transparent door 7 to a cabinet or showcase body 8, the hinge 1 is formed from resilient steel sheet comprising upper and lower flat co-planar lugs 2, 3 joined by a narrow neck portion 4 to a part-cylindrical looped portion 5. The door 7 is provided at its top edge with longitudinal slots 9 which permit the hinge 1 to be inserted therethrough and to be retained in slots 10 in a downwardlyprojecting flange 6 of a right-angled metal strip which fits over the top edge of the showcase.
