1425380 Chromating Zn or Cd DOMINION FOUNDRIES & STEEL Ltd 31 Aug 1973 [31 Aug 1972] 41168/73 Heading C7U Cd or Zn surfaces are chromated using an aqueous solution (pH less than 1.15) containing Cr ions (5 to 15 g./l.), F ions (0.1 to 0.30 g./l.), and perchlorate ions (0.4 to 0.85 g./l.). The apparatus described for applying the solution forms the subject-matter of Specification 1425379.
