Abstract
1424811 Metallised monoazo pigments CIBAGEIGY AG 14 Aug 1973 [14 Oct 1972] 47502/72 Heading C4P New metallised monoazo pigments of formula wherein A is an aryl or heterocyclic diazo component residue and B is an aryl or heterocyclic coupling component residue or A is an aryl diazo component residue and B is an aliphatic coupling component residue, A and B being optionally substituted by non water-solubilising groups, X is -O-, -NH- or -S- and Y is -O- or -NH- and M is Cu, Zn, Ni, Cd, Fe, Co, Mn, Cr, Zr or V are prepared by metallising the corresponding monoazo dyes. The pigments are used to colour inks, lacquers and paints and also in the mass dyeing of natural and synthetic resins in yellow and red shades.
