Abstract

1422238 Wedge fastenings SVENSKA FLAKTFABRIKEN AB 27 Feb 1973 [10 March 1972] 9584/73 Heading E2B A steel strap 16 e.g. for supporting a duct to a roof, is secured in a hole 17 by a fastener comprising a pair of wedges 1a, 1b which may be separated at neck 8 and jammed into the hole. The strap is first pressed into the hole around the end of part 1a, Fig. 4, then 1b is broken off and hammered in along-side it, Fig. 5. For Figures see next column
