Abstract

1419121 Heterocyclic-fused triazole derivatives ELI LILLY & CO 11 Oct 1972 [12 Oct 1971 13 April 1972 10 Oct 1972] 46958/72 Heading C2C Novel heterocyclic-fused triazole derivatives having the general formula and the phytologically acceptable acid addition salts thereof; wherein X is -O-, -S-, R 1 is halogen, (C 1 -C 3 ) alkyl, alkoxy or alkylthio; R 2 is hydrogen or a radical as defined for R 1 ; R 3 is hydrogen, (C 1 -C 11 ) alkyl, cyclopropyl, hydroxy, (C 1 -C 3 ) alkoxy, mercapto, (C 1 -C 3 ) alkylthio, allylthio, propynylthio, benzylthio, halogen, (C 1 -C 3 ) alkylamino, di- (C 1 -C 3 )alkylamino, carbamoyl thiocyanato, acetamido, trifluoromethyl or a radical of the formula: -COOR<SP>4</SP>, wherein R<SP>4</SP> is sodium, potassium, (C 1 -C 3 ) alkyl, halomethyl or mono- or di(C 1 -C 3 )alkylamino; provided that (i) at least two R<SP>2</SP> groups or at least one of R<SP>2</SP> and R<SP>3</SP>, represent hydrogen, and (ii) that when both R<SP>1</SP> and R<SP>3</SP> represent groups other than hydrogen, such groups together do not contain more than six carbon atoms. The novel compounds are useful as active agents in controlling plantpathogenic organisms.
