Abstract

1414265 Diving suits G B HARDY and R W PEAKMAN [trading as MIDLAND AQUA SUPPLIES] 15 Feb 1974 [30 March 1973] 15310/73 Heading B7U A diving suit 10 has at least one inflatable enclosure, preferably located on the chest of the suit which may be inflated to control buoyancy either by a separate supply of compressed air or from the source of breathing air, e.g. an aqualung. A pressure relief valve 15 is provided to deflate the enclosure and an air inlet coupling member 16 is provided for inflation purposes and which may be connected to the outlet of an air demand regulator in the air supply line from an aqualung to a diver's mouth piece or to a separate air supply cylinder via a suitable control valve. A breathing hose 17 is also provided so that in an emergency the divers may breathe the air from inside the enclosure.
