Abstract

1412214 Wall-pointing tool A K TATHAM 31 Dec 1973 [4 Jane 1973] 506/73 Heading E1S A tool for pointing or smoothing mortar joints in brick and like walls comprises a fork member including a shank 7 and a pair of fork arms 6, a handle 2, a respective rolling element, e.g. a roller 8, on each arm 6, and a blade 3 adjustably mounted between the arms 6. The blade 3 is secured on the shank 7 by a clip 9 and screw 10. An auxiliary blade 5 is secured at the other end of the handle by a screw 11. The handle is tubular and is detachable. In use, the blade 3 is drawn along a joint with the rollers 8 running on the wall surface.
