Abstract

1409883 Disposal of sanitary waste in engine exhaust systems THERMASAN CORP 19 Sept 1972 [10 Dec 1971] 4203/73 Divided out of 1409882 Heading E1C A system for disposing of liquid and organic waste material, e.g. from a sanitary closet on a vehicle, comprises means for feeding it at a controlled rate from a holding tank into the exhaust system of an internal combustion engine only when each of two conditions of the system, sensed by suitable means, falls within a preselected range, the conditions being indicative either of the level of waste material in the holding tank and the temperature of the gases in the exhaust system, or the latter and the rate of feeding fuel to the engine for combustion purposes. The described embodiments are the same as those described in the parent Specification 1409882.
