Abstract

1405545 Twisting wires together BEKAERT SA NV 18 Jan 1973 2640/73 Heading B3E Two wires of diameter 0À10 to 0À30 mm., or two strands or cords composed of such wires, are joined by arranging the wires alongside one another, holding them fast with respect to one another at two spaced apart locations, and twisting them between the locations. Suitably for wires the locations are 19 mm. apart, and three or four complete turns are imposed. The cords may be intended for reinforcing tyres or hoses. The wires may be twisted by a disc having a wedge-shaped cut-out.
