Abstract

1405279 Inflatable life raft RES-Q-RAFT Inc 29 Dec 1972 [11 Jan 1972] 60041/72 Headings B7A and B7M A collapsible, inflatable raft comprises a buoyant platform having a floor 4 supported by an inflatable tube 2 secured around its periphery. Stabilizing chamber 38 is mounted beneath the floor and extends under the entire area of the floor. Apertures 46 in the wall of the stabilizing chamber allow water to flow into the chamber to stabilize the raft. In the embodiment shown the stabilizing chamber has inflatable walls and a dome 12 having inflatable walls forms a shelter mounted on the platform.
